The Nativo blend is a rare Dominican puro. the cigar has a Criollo "98 seed wrapper,an Olor binder and a filler blend of Olor,Criollo '98 and Piloto Cubano. In the February 2007 issue of Cigar Aficionado the Robusto received an Outstanding 89 rating,only the Davidoff 100th Anniversary received a slightly higher score of 90. The review stated "the wrapper on this cigar is oily with great color. An easy draw imparts rich smoke full of sweet wood and wheat flavors with a significant kick of orange peel." if you are a fan of flavorful medium/ mild cigars this is a winner.
On the heels of the February review the following April 2007 issue of Cigar Aficionado named the Augusto Reyes Nativo Lancero their Highest Rated Panetela. This beautiful cigar earned a 90 rating.
