Biarritz – “Superior Quality In A Bundled Cigar”
Available in two wrapper styles—natural and maduro. The natural wrapper is an Indonesian grown Sumatra seed wrapper that lends a mild spicy taste to this Dominican made beauty. The maduro is a Brazilian grown wrapper that is dark yet mild and very smooth tasting. Made by Augusto Reyes, Biarritz is another quality cigar that comes from the Dominican Republic. Its delicate formula needs tobaccos from many countries to finish it and they are sourced from those countries where the growing harvesting curing and the final aging are done meticulously to attain the right taste flavor and the color for the cigar. Biarritz was an instant success at its launch with many smokers loved it and it carries the same quality still up to date to retain its popularity with the faithful smokers who developed a liking to it at the very beginning.
The wrapper for Biarritz is from Ecuador where the tobacco for this wrapper is grown from seeds brought from Sumatra where the top quality wrapper seeds are available. The tobacco for the wrapper is grown under controlled conditions and conditions and harvested at the right time. The frying and the curing process are meticulously followed to obtain the correct color and the taste. The fillers used in the cigar are a blend of Pilatto Cubano and the Cuban seed Legero long fillers. To complete the cigar they use the Olor binder grown in the Dominican Republic. With all these ingredients together Biarritz makes the perfect cigar.
Biarritz is available only in two sizes. The big Churchill Corojo is 7½” in length and has a ring gauge of 50. It is a mild cigar with Corojo wrapper. The other member is the shorter Robusto Corojo that is only 5” long with the same ring gauge size as its big brother Churchill. Both these are mild cigars handmade in the Dominican Republic.
